The client: As a Beauty Editor for Sephora, I headed all of the creative marketing copy for the website, emails, store windows, and in-store animations for North America. I also helped in redefining the brand voice for the relaunch of Sephora.com, managed a team of writers, and frequented New York and Los Angeles for fashion shows and beauty events multiple times a year.

I helped develop the voice and launch website content for natural beauty retailer, Credo Beauty.
The client: Formerly known as Crowdtilt, this San Francisco-based start-up brought me on to give their brand an upbeat, encouraging, memorable voice--one that is always up for having a good time and doing a good deed.

The client: Founded in 1976, Benefit Cosmetics is a San Francisco-based cosmetics company owned by Louis Vuitton Moet Hennesy (LVMH). The beloved brand is known for its irreverent product names and laugh-out-loud approach to beauty.

The client: Sacramento's most prominent magazine, Sacramento Magazine covers the region's best and newest offerings in food, travel, entertainment, and style.

The client: Acclaimed San Francisco interior designer Martin Young.
The project: Write the content for his entire website, which can be viewed in full here. This included crafting unique and descriptive copy for his portfolio and capturing his aesthetic and experience in a compelling bio.

The client: Sofia Crokos is a highly sought-after event planner and lifestyle guru based in New York City.

Digital First Ventures
The client: Digital First Ventures is the venture capital arm of a $1.4 billion media company, Digital First Media, which manages Media News Group and 21st Century Media.

Sacramento Turn Verein
The client: The Sacramento Turn Verein has served as the center for German traditions in Sacramento since 1854. The historic club is where locals with German ancestry—and those with an interest in German culture—congregate to socialize, study German language, celebrate, exercise, and carry on revered German customs.
The project: Write their full website, complete with a detailed history of Turn Verein lineage, annual events listings, club descriptions and traditions, and hall rental listings.
The client:Blackbird Kitchen + Bar (now Kitchen + Tap Room), is a Downtown Sacramento restaurant headed by chef Carina Lampkin.
